About

About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, families, and groups. I earned my Master of Social Work from Arizona State University and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island, and I am certified in School Social Work in the state of New Jersey.

I began my career in a private therapeutic school, where I spent seven years working with children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral challenges. That experience shaped much of my clinical foundation. During this time, I developed extensive expertise in Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, OCD, school refusal, and learning disabilities, and became highly versed in the special education process. My work included individual therapy, daily social-skills groups, and the development of programs such as volunteer initiatives for at-risk youth, summer social-skills workshops, and equine-assisted experiential therapy. In 2011, I was honored to receive the “You Make a Difference” award for my dedication to this population.

After relocating to New Jersey, I transitioned into private group practice and expanded my clinical work across the lifespan. I provided individual, family, and group therapy and collaborated closely with schools, medical providers, and community professionals. Over time, I cultivated a specialty that remains central to my practice today: recognizing and assessing Autism and ADHD in children, adolescents, and adults—particularly those who have been misunderstood, misdiagnosed, or overlooked. This focus has become one of the most meaningful aspects of my work.

My therapeutic approach is collaborative and blends insight-focused work with practical cognitive-behavioral strategies. I support clients through emotional challenges, developmental differences, school-based struggles, identity questions, executive-function difficulties, and major life transitions. My background in special education also allows me to guide families through the complexities of school planning and advocacy with clarity and confidence.

In 2021, after a decade in group practice, I founded Goldman Clinical Services, LLC. My work continues to be guided by the belief that each client’s story is unique. I aim to provide thoughtful, strength-based, and compassionate care that helps clients deepen their self-understanding and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
