Over the past two decades, I’ve worked with countless children, teens, and adults who come to therapy knowing “something is going on,” but unsure exactly what it is. Many have traits of ADHD or Autism but aren’t ready—or able—to jump straight into a full neuropsychological evaluation. Others simply want a professional, experienced perspective to help them determine whether further testing is worth pursuing.
That’s exactly why I’ve created a new service:a 3-4 session observational assessment for ADHD and Autism.
What This New Service Looks Like
Over the course of three to four sessions, I observe the individual’s communication style, executive functioning, social-emotional cues, behavioral responses, and patterns that may suggest ADHD, Autism, both, or something entirely different. This process is gentle, conversational, and grounded in real-world functioning—not rigid checklists.
These sessions are not meant to replace a full neuropsychological evaluation. Instead, they offer a clear, professional starting point grounded in my 20+ years of experience working with neurodivergent clients across all ages.
Who This May Benefit
This service is especially helpful for:
Families unsure whether their child needs full testing
Teens and young adults exploring late diagnosis
Adults who have always “felt different” but never sought answers
Individuals on waitlists for neuropsych evaluations
Anyone wanting a knowledgeable, low-pressure clinical perspective
What You’ll Receive
At the end of the three sessions, I provide:
A clinical summary of observed traits and patterns
A clear recommendation on whether further neuropsych testing is advised
Guidance on next steps for school, work, or personal support
A supportive, shame-free space to understand yourself or your child more fully
Why I’m Offering This
So many people struggle for years without answers—not because they don’t have symptoms, but because the path to diagnosis feels overwhelming. My goal is to make that first step easier, calmer, and more accessible.
Sometimes, the observational assessment provides enough clarity to move forward with accommodations and therapeutic strategies. Other times, it points toward the need for a deeper evaluation. Either way, you’ll walk away with insight, direction, and validation.
If You’re Curious, I’m Here to Help
Whether you’re seeking answers for yourself, your child, or a teen in your care, this service offers a meaningful way to begin the journey.
If you’d like to learn more or schedule the 3-4 session observational assessment, feel free to reach out anytime.
